- Once downloaded, open the file and it will prompt installation screen.

How to download and install APK on Nox App Player
Installing an app from Play Store is easy but what about APK file? It’s even easier. Just download an APK file of any game or app from any trusted website from the internet. Once done, you can just drag and drop that APK file on Nox App player and it will install that app or game automatically. You can also just press “Ctrl + +” from your keyboard and then select the APK you want to install. Or you can just find the APK installer icon from the right side of your emulator.
How to root and unroot Nox App Player
There are some built-in features that requires rooted Nox Player and luckily, you don’t need to be an Android expert or developer to do that. Nox provided the root feature within the software so anyone can root and unroot their Nox App Player with just few clicks.
To root Nox Player, click the gear icon on top right corner of Nox player beside minimize icon.
It will open System Settings. From the main screen, you will see an unchecked Root option. Check it and click “Save Settings”. It will restart Nox and now you have rooted Nox Player.
To unroot Nox App Player, just follow the same steps but uncheck the Root option from System settings, restart your Nox and you are good to go. You can root and unroot anytime with this button.
How to run Android 5.1 Lollipop on Nox App Player
Default Nox player offers Kitkat OS but you can also access to Android Lollipop. To do that, open “Multi-Instance Manager” from the right sidebar or simply press “Ctrl + 8” from your keyboard. It will open Nox Multi-Instance Manager in a new window.
From here click Add Emulator button and it will open more options.
Click “New emulator-Android5.1” and it will start downloading it as a new Nox emulator with Android 5.1 in it.
